I am methodical, direct, and detail-led. I do not do things by halves, and I do not let things go until they are right.
My background spans HR, complaints and dispute resolution, and set and lighting design for television and theatre. Three quite different fields, connected by the same way of working.
I am CIPD qualified, with a background in HR across public sector, corporate, and independent organisations. My focus was policy, procedure, and complaints handling: areas that demand consistency, precision, and a clear understanding of both the rules and the intent behind them.
I have worked across technology, local government, and a range of other sectors at varying levels of seniority. That breadth gave me a grounded understanding of how organisations function, how they are supposed to behave, and where the two tend to diverge.
When something is wrong, I find out exactly why, and I build the case to prove it.
I cross-reference every piece of correspondence, identify inconsistencies, and document the full picture before drafting a response. Vague answers do not go unchallenged. Processes are followed correctly, and where they are not, that is noted and escalated.
I know how complaints frameworks operate across financial services, telecoms, energy, local government, and retail. I am familiar with the escalation routes: the Financial Ombudsman Service, Ofcom, CISAS, and the Energy Ombudsman. I know how to use them effectively. The results speak for themselves.
I design sets and theatrical lighting for television and theatre. It is creative work, approached with the same precision and deliberateness I bring to everything else. Every element considered. Every decision made for a reason.
